### Origin

**"The Octavio Monday Pattern"** — recurring inconsistent attendance by a senior member (late arrival, mid-meeting entry, unstable remote connection), generating interruptions and team friction. Consistent members were carrying the cost.

*Proposed by Cyan, Jul 2026.*

***

### Rules

**ABSENCE** — Cannot attend? Notify the Owner **24 hours in advance.**

**REMOTE ATTENDANCE** — Video/call attendance requires request + approval by the Owner, 24 hours in advance. Approved remote = camera on. Stable connection is the attendee's responsibility.

**DOOR CLOSES AT +15** — No entry after 15 minutes past start time. Exception: emergency, justified with evidence, same day.

**NO EXCEPTIONS BY RANK** — Applies to every attendee, including Founder/CEO. Nobody above the system.

***

### Emergency (Exception to Rule 3)

**Qualifies:**

* Health or family event occurring at that moment *(foreseeable ones must use Rule 1: 24h notice)*
* Accident en route *(physical evidence exists by nature)*
* Operational incident requiring immediate action

**Does not qualify:**

* Traffic, parking, transit stops
* Anything knowable 24 hours before

Evidence must be submitted same day to the Owner.

***

### Enforcement

* Breach is recorded by the Owner as a 2-line note in the weekly report.
* Repeated pattern escalates to CEO.
* Door rule is self-executing.
